Shloka Mehta, Akash AmbaniInstagramShloka Mehta, the elder daughter-in-law of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, recently celebrated her first birthday as Shloka Akash Ambani on July 11. And all the members of the Ambani and the Mehta family made a special video, featuring Sholka as a fairy tale princess, to wish her on her special day. Undoubtedly, the video has grabbed several eyeballs but for all the wrong reasons. While Nita Ambani spoke about how Shloka has brought a positive change in the Ambani family with her personal interests and hobbies, her husband Akash Ambani, her father-in-law Mukesh Ambani and brother-in-law Anant Ambani wished Shloka to be a mother of a baby by her next birthday. The Ambani family’s would-be daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant, Isha Ambani and husband Anand Piramal too poured in their wishes to Shloka on her birthday. The video also featured Shloka’s parents and her friends wishing her. However, many people on social media were unhappy with the way the Ambani family was ‘pressurising’ Shloka to have a child soon after her marriage.”Patriarchy is pouring through all the love that is being forced down the throat,” an irked online user commented after watching the video while many called it ‘sexist’. Many felt that the Ambani family were trying to remind Shloka that she was no longer Shloka Mehta but now known as Shloka Akash Ambani.Take a look. And you thought ‘Kyunki Saas bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ days are behind us and India has progressed ? #ShlokaMehta #Ambani— Nisha Punjabi (@nishapunjabi) July 15, 2019I bet the British Royal Family bahus Kate and Meghan, especially Kate, were under the same pressure to pop out babies. But at least their husbands didn’t make a cringeworthy video and wink like that. #Ambani #ShlokaMehta— Juhi Modi (@juhimodi) July 15, 2019The media agency that made the ambani video should be asked to read little Prince rather than just Google for a book that fits their theme. While at it, be less patriarchal in treating shloka as their means to further the bloodline #ambani #ShlokaMehta— Arundhati (@arundhati_g) July 15, 2019#ShlokaMehta’s birthday video is beyond tacky ?So much *public* display of pressure on her to do what every adarsh bahu must ?— Staph Aubergine MD ? Moreno)/Wikimedia CommonsSupporters of López Obrador marching in Guanajuato, Guanajuato, MéxicoIf Andrés Manuel López Obrador becomes the next Mexican president in July, the government will close all Catholic churches That’s just one of the fake news stories circulating on Facebook feeds about the Mexican presidential election.Sound familiar?Remember pizzagate during our own presidential campaign a couple of years ago?Alfredo Corchado, Mexico border correspondent for the Dallas Morning News says López Obrador is one of several candidates for the job, but two candidates stand out, representing vastly different political views and constituencies. What we’ve seen lately in the last few days is this is becoming a two-man race,” Corchado says. “López Obrador and [Ricardo] Anaya. What everybody’s kind of gearing up for is this massive, ugly campaign. We’re literally 60 days away from the election, and social media will take front and center.”In Mexico, candidates are not supposed to kick off their campaigns until 90 days before an election, so the compressed campaign period becomes all the more frenetic. Corchado says Mexico is fertile ground for unsubstantiated news stories.“Mexico is the perfect place for fake news to flourish, because people have this historic distrust of the government and the media,” Corchado says. That has a lot to do with collusion between the government and leading media outlets.“In 2000, for example [the government had] an alliance with the leading television broadcaster, Televisa,” Corchado says. “The network’s owner once famously described himself as a soldier for the PRI, the longstanding ruling party of Mexico.”Corchado says the López Obrador campaign is fighting fake news with a project to bring citizens together for discussions of the candidate’s policy proposals, and to combat fake news about what opponents say are his sinister plans to become a dictator.Corchado says it’s difficult to detect the true source of fake news aimed at Mexican voters.Written by Shelly Brisbin.

We’ll be looking for talent both inside and outside of our universal of characters.”Brat’s new music efforts will be led by new hire Lucas Thomashow, a former Google employee who started the DJ duo Cherry Beach. The new division will team up talent with emerging songwriters and producers to create releases under the Brat Records banner. (PhysOrg.com) — DLR, an aerospace agency based in German, has modified its flagship robot, known as the Rollin’ Justin, in order to make it into a lean, mean, catching machine. The Rollin’ Justin’s modifications allow the machine to catch balls that are thrown in its direction with an accuracy rate of about 80%. The Rollin’ Justin’s robots accuracy rating is better than the average uncoordinated human. It is certainly better than this reporters accuracy rate. It is not as good as say, a Major League Baseball player, but then again most of us cannot say that we are as good as the pros either. Considering they also have near unlimited stamina, at least until the battery runs out, it may be a great partner for the standard game of catch, or for the position behind the batter. The content is provided for information purposes only. Key to Robonaut 2’s dexterity is human-like hands The machine can actually catch up to two balls at once, and while this may not sound like a lot on paper, but just try doing it in the back yard. It is not exactly an easy task. The robot will, when the balls are released, calculate the flight path of those two balls, and then position its hands into a catching position that is within 2 centimeters of the point where the ball is expected to be, in about just 5 milliseconds. The system does work with the help of external computers. They are needed in order to handle the processing and make the calculations possible in real time. The Rollin’ Justin weighs about 45kg , and it is equipped with a 3D camera system that allows it to pinpoint the objects distance, which needed in order make the calculation. The robot is built with 43 joints, with 5 in his torso, 7 in each of the arms, and 12 in each hand. It is also equipped with a total of 84 sensors.
